Cooking Class in Oaxaca

Eduardo Vera is one of Oaxaca's acclaimed young chefs and will be taking the reins as Convivio's head chef once we open our new restaurant in September. This series of cooking classes will allow us to finish our new space and re-employ our staff. Covid19 has had a massive effect on us financially, physically and mentally but we're confident that if we can make it as far as opening day, we'll thrive.

This is an opportunity to purchase your cooking class experience in advance of your visit to Oaxaca. The class voucher can be redeemed with advance notice any time until December 31st 2021. We do require a minimum of 2 people for this class, prices are per person.

What the class includes:

- A trip to a local market with Chef Eduardo to buy all the ingredients for the class, a chance to meet the producers and get a genuine feel for the culture of market life.

- An authentic cooking class experience with Chef Eduardo cooking a local unique dish from start to finish and then dining with the chef, with a couple of mezcals of course!

- An illustrated recipe booklet of the dish you cooked to take home so you can recreate it in the future.

When you purchase, you will receive an automated email confirmation. We will then email you a dedicated voucher which you can redeem when you know your dates of arrival. We ask for advance notice of around 2 weeks, but we understand that isn't always possible so we will try to fit your dates to the best of our ability.
